What you'll be doing under the supervision of the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Assist in creating, customizing and executing both organic and paid strategy for all digital channels 
  • Help in translating and writing compelling copy across our digital channels from English to Japanese and vice-versa
  • Support in localizing websites and QA for clients
  • Schedule posts and videos across all channels
  • Moderate activity across our social channels—answering comments, messages
  • Provide support in running, monitoring and optimizing paid ads across all channels
  • Aid in analyzing our performance across channels, identifying trends and opportunities and providing solutions to the client
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in utilizing analytics tools to generate insights and create client-facing reports
  • Help develop new and innovative solutions to improve performance for our clients (e.g., content appearance, visual look, post types, etc.)
  • Work together in coming up with local campaigns and post ideas that are in line with local tradition, trends, cultural moments
  • Exemplify social media best practice
  • Be the go-to person for all things digital marketing

Ideal skills you have (but not a must) :

  • Experience (at least one year) in working with social media (Facebook and Instagram) or the digital marketing field
  • Understand digital marketing and social media trends, and able to keep up with ever-changing platforms
  • Passionate and interested in digital marketing as a whole, with a focus on social media
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other standard tools
  • Use Photoshop (or other image editing tools) to resize, crop or optimize assets for their designated platforms
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills

You will bring to the team:

  • Fluency in both written and spoken Japanese (native speaker or N1 level) is a must; fluency in English (minimum business level) is a must
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, and effective time management
  • Impeccable organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and respect for deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy, able to use various task management systems, communications apps and presentation/spreadsheet apps for productivity
  • Confidence in juggling a range of different tasks and prioritizing for urgency and effect
  • Has a love for detail, and paying extra attention to the fine print
  • Not afraid to try new things, make mistakes, and learn from them
