Production coordinator

Production coordinators make sure that every aspect runs smoothly behind the scenes. Working in full time in the Production Team, they ensure the delivery of our projects to the clients, e.g. New websites production, localization, tourism strategy & content marketing…

Production coordinators coordinate, organize and prioritize tasks, measure results, and ensure the ball is never dropped on deliverables, no matter how small.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Production Manager and work closely with the Content Team, the Technology Team, the Design Team and the Account Management Team in order to ensure the smooth delivery of our projects on time, from project kick-off to post-production;
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to create detailed production tasks and schedule, assigning them to the internal and external resources;
  • Track tasks progress, and communicate status and updates to the stakeholders of the projects;
  • Create project and task briefs, dashboards and other documentation to communicate with the stakeholders of the projects;
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the internal processes and project management methods.

The ideal person:

  • Has proven production coordination or project management experience at a digital agency or similar environment;
  • Is an expert in project management methods and best practices;
  • Has experience working with the agile methodology;
  • Has outstanding presentation skills and exceptional communication skills, both with teams and with clients;
  • Is fluent in English and in Japanese;
  • Is flexible and has the ability to juggle many projects and priorities simultaneously;
  • Has a positive can-do attitude with strong initiative, strong research, and problem-solving skills, and follow through;
  • Has a passion for new technologies and innovation;
  • Embraces challenges and new methods of thinking;
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You bring:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a production coordinator, project coordinator, or similar role. Digital agency experience preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, or a similar degree;
  • Expert skills using MS Office and Google Drive, especially Google Sheet;
  • Skills using project management software such as Wrike, Pivotal, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar are good to have;
  • Knowledge of Python, HTML, CSS3, and SEO is a plus but is not mandatory.
